For example, Blizzard could use Murozond to introduce alternate timelines and realities, which would allow for new and different characters and storylines. Retconning with Murozond also has the added benefit of introducing new and exciting storylines. With Murozond's powers as a time manipulator, these changes could be explained and incorporated into the lore in a seamless and believable way. Perhaps a character's actions such as Garrosh's War Crimes were erased from history, or a significant event played out differently than we originally thought such as Sylvanas's reasoning with burning Teldrassil. I knew almost nothing about the book’s plot when I began reading but I was drawn into Lock In’s world from the very first page. The short version of my review is that if you like smart, imaginative science fiction, you should buy this book immediately. First up is an unreserved rave for John Scalzi’s Lock In. But, on the bright side, I now have a fairly significant backlog of books that I can review for this blog. Five months have passed since my last review - yikes!
